Marine gears of the design type GCS and GCH are single stage reduction gears with case hardened and ground single helical spur wheels. GCS type gears are of vertical offset design. GCH gears have horizontal offset shafts.

The sizes GCS/GCH 450 to 560 are equipped with antifriction bearings. The sizes GCS/GCH 600 to 1000 are equipped with plain bearings.

All gears can be equipped with a power take off (PTO) for which special superposition gears have been developed.
